Jednak jest czarna (czyli super), więc postanowiłam poddać ją recyklingowi (#fashionrecycling).
At the end of the year my wardrobe has undergone a 5S project ;). Part of the clothes, the ones I did not wear throughout the last year, I gave away either to my friends or tocharity. However, I found a sweatshirt that I bought several years back and it was still in perfect condition (well… I did not have the chance to wear it ;p). It’s advantage was the colour – black (great!), so I decided it deserved a new life, a simple life 🙂 (#fashionrecycling)
Steve Jobs jest dla mnie inspiracją na co dzień:
Great minds have always praised simplicity.
Steve Jobs is one of my inspirations on a daily basis:
and Coco Chanel:
this is what I stick to. (!)
Stąd więc pomysł na napis SIMPLICITY (przeciwieństwo do tego nadruku, który już był na bluzie). Napis wygląda jak napisany na maszynie – nie wyszedł idealny,
ale przecież ja też nie jestem 😉Therefore, I decided on an idea for a SIMPLICITY sweatshirt (totally opposite to what was on the sweatshirt in original). The inscription looks like it was typed with a typewriter – well, it’s not perfect, but I am not as well 😉
stary t-shirt, (w tym przypadku biały)/ old white t-shirt
czarna farba do odzieży/ black fabric paint
Podsumowanie kosztów: koszt farby 8,50 PLN
(z czego farby wykorzystałam 1/10, czyli na 1 szt wychodzą grosze)Cost summary: paint cost (1/10 of the container)
STEP 1: Paint over the original iron-on with the black paint.
STEP 3: Cut out the letters from the printout (optional – transfer the design onto a freezer paper and cut out with a precision knife).
KROK 5: Delikatnie zdjąć folię z napisu i zostawić do wyschnięcia ok 2h.
STEP 4: Place the inscription on the white piece of fabric and secure with a self adhesive tape. Start covering the inscription, using the black paint, with a stamp over movement of the sponge.
STEP 6: Baste the white rectangle with SIMPLICITY to the sweatshirt.
Wiem, że tego typu tutoriali jest pełno w sieci, aczkolwiek świetne jest to jak wiele mamy możliwości, które ogranicza jedynie nasza wyobraźnia! Mogę odfastrygować naszywkę i zmienić jej kolor i napis – ilość kombinacji: nieograniczona.
I know that the Internet is swamped with this type of tutorials, however it’s amazing how many possibilities we have with this method – limited only by our imagination! I can re-baste the tab and change it’s colour or the word itself – the amount of combinations: limitless.
You can make your own amazing, custom pillow cases or curtains and make them according to your style.
Wash fabrics before painting. The instruction on my paint says it needs 3 weeks before first wash.
2. Poprawki lepiej robić tym kolorem, którego używaliście do robienia napisu./
Make the corrections with the colour you used to make the inscription.
3. Papier do pieczenia odginał mi się w trakcie nanoszenia farby, więc następnym razem użyję grubego papieru A4./
Freezer paper started to fold during painting, so the next time I will use the printout on a thick A4 sheet.
Też zrobiliście takie przemiany? Podzielcie się ze mną nimi w komentarzach.
Aha! Bluza bierze udział w konkursie Zaladno #zalandodiy.
Trzymajcie kciuki! 😉
Did you make any projects similar to this one? Please share them with me in the comments. And o! I submitted the sweatshirt to Zalando DIY contest #zalandodiy. Keep your fingers crossed! 😉
Thx.
